I am a legally blind interdisciplinary artist, working primarily in traditional drawing and mixed-media works.
Blind Illustrations
I specialize in producing hyper-realistic portrait drawings, and aim to learn, grow, and explore the intricacies of mark-making, drawing, and various diverse art techniques, in order to further capture lifelike realism in my works.
Mission
I challenge individuals to look at my artwork, beyond the visual.
Through my art practice, I aim to educate my audience about a multitude of means of perception.
I have always enjoyed defying odds while challenging the perspectives of others.
While I have been working primarily with drawing for over a decade, I also create art dealing with themes related to my disability; focusing on my struggles, and challenging the oppression and discrimination I experience as a legally blind identifying individual. Thus challenging the very frameworks and structures of perception and what it means to succeed with an exceptionality.
